SECURACOMM SELECTED AS SECURITY CONSULTANT FOR NATIONAL HARBOR PROJECT

SecuraComm has been appointed as security consultant by the Peterson Companies for thier Washington DC National Harbor project.  The National Harbor Project is a $2 Billion, 300 acre mixed use real estate development project located in Prince Georges County, Maryland.  National Harbor combines retail, dining, entertainment, office and residential facilities with the largest combined hotel and convention center on the Eastern Seaboard.  As part of their assignment, SecuraComm will develop the security program for the National Harbor operation.

The Peterson Companies is Washington DC's preeminent real estate developer.  Based in Fairfax, Virginia, The Petersen Companies is a privately-owned development company with experience including Fair Lakes, Washingtonian, Fairfax Corner, Virginia Gateway, and Tysons McLean Office Park developments.  The Peterson Companies' major residential communities include Burke Center, Franklin Farm, Centre Ridge, Virginia Oaks, Greenhill Crossing/Somerset, Fox Mill, Crosspoint, and Union Mills developments.  "As we narrowed the selection down to those companies that understood the project, matched  the Peterson culture, and had the resources needed for execution, SecuraComm became an obvious finalist," said Kevin Donohoe, Director of Commercial Management for the Peterson Companies.

SECURACOMM SELECTED AS SECURITY CONSULTANT FOR NATION'S LARGEST HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOOL SYSTEM

SecuraComm has been appointed as security consultant by the Maricopa County Community College District.  SecuraComm will review current policies and procedures and suggest enhancements to the campus law enforcement  and safety officer policies and procedures.  It is expected that SecuraComm will focus on staffing, recruitment, command structure, liability, and training.

The Maricopa County Community College District is the largest higher education system in the US and the largest provider of health care workers and job training in Arizona - a major resource for business and industry for individuals seeking education and job training.  It is comprised of ten nationally accredited colleges, two skill centers, numerous satellite education centers and a distrit office - all located in Arizona.

Ron Heil, SecuraComm's Director of Consulting has been designated a Certified Homeland Security (CHS) specialist by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security.
