City of North Las Vegas; Nevada Performed a physical and IT security assessment of city facilities, identified vulnerabilities, and developed recommendations for security enhancement.

City of Evanston; Illinois

Scope: Developed a design of a city-wide video surveillance system utilizing the city-wide area network. Subsequent service included the development of installation specification and a RFP for competitive bidding.

City of Rock Hill; South Carolina
Scope: Conducted a threat assessment and security vulnerability analysis (SVA) of the City and public sector facilities and infrastructure, recommended actions to be taken to mitigate identified vulnerabilities, and formulated a comprehensive Hometown Security and Emergency Preparedness Plan.

Capital Region Council of Governments (CRCOG); CT Scope: Developed an anti-terrorism annex to supplement the Regional Emergency Disaster Plan.

 

Boulder County; Colorado

Conducted an analysis of Boulder County's security goals and the security measures in effect at county facilities to include administrative facilities, courts, medical clinics, fairgrounds, maintenance facilities, and recycling center.  The assignment included assistance with the implementation of a security policy and a plan for associated improvement measures.

 

Dakota County Judicial Center; Minnesota

Scope: Assessed physical security measures and developed Recommendations and Cost Estimates for long-term enhancement program. Services included review of existing security/protective measures and access control system.

District of Columbia Army National Guard; Washington, DC

Scope:  Conducted a physical security assessment to identify security vulnerabilities as outlined in the Force Protection guidelines of the current DoD regulations, developed recommendations and cost estimate for improvements, and developed a plan for replacement of the facility access control system.  The results of the assessment were analyzed, weaknesses identified, and recommendations for improvement were developed.

 

Dept. of Housing and Urban Development; Washington DC

Designed and developed a specification to extend and upgrade the building's public address system to office areas and other select locations and increased the system's emergency notification capability and developed a Scope of Work for the for the upgrade.

 

Derry Township Waste Water Facility, Pennsylvania

Scope: Developed design for Fire Protection System for complex. Developed Construction Bid Documents including Bidding Requirements, Installation Specifications, and Detail Drawings for Fire Alarm System.

Erie County; New York

Provided a variety of security consulting and engineering services to the County of Erie, which owns and maintains over 200 buildings.

1st Assignment: Provided a comprehensive risk assessment of County facilities and infrastructure.  The assessment included identifying physical, operational, and IT vulnerabilities of the County facilities, providing assistance in identifying potential counter-measures, and developing a security plan for upgrading the security of the infrastructure and County facilities 

2nd Assignment: Performed analysis of specific infrastructure and data requirements, as well as personnel data management interfaces, and site security prioritization, including outlining an implementation plan, identification of potential manufacturer partners, characterization and qualification of the manufacturers and their integrator networks, and review and selection of the partner network.  SecuraComm also developed installation and operational guidelines, as well as installation and equipment standards, programming standards and naming conventions. 

3rd Assignment: Performed physical inspections, interviews with key County personnel and County contractors and consultants, and development of a recommendation report that guides current ID and security system procurement efforts

4th Assignment:

Performed and assessment of the planned security program for a new Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) Laboratory in order to comply with BSL3 security requirements and development of recommendations for enhancements to the program.

5th Assignment:

Assisted in the design of the security systems for the newly constructed Public Safety Campus building, including redundant access control and intrusion detection systems, integrated video monitoring and digital video recording systems, and an integrated security communication system.  Efforts included enhancing and value engineering the security system design, development of project implementation and interconnection/integration schedules, enhancement of the project specifications, bid analysis, and construction administration support.  Construction administration support included shop drawing and submittal review, review and response to information requests, installation inspections, and final system audits, acceptance tests, turnover and commissioning.

Haddon Township; New Jersey

Scope:  Performed a vulnerability assessment for the Water Authority of the City of Haddon using the EPA accepted Sandia Risk Assessment Methodology (Lite) for small Water Utilities utilizing RAM-W certified professionals, as directed by the "Public Health Security & Bioterrorism Preparedness Response Act of 2002."

Memphis Light, Gas and Water; Tennessee
Scope: Provided security review and development of security design for cost-effective, centralized monitoring of the facility security systems using ATM digital technology over a dark fiber data network.

Montgomery County Parking Authority; Maryland
Scope: Provided a vulnerability assessment, design/development of recommendations to increase off-hour security measures, specifications for standardized security for city-owned parking structures. Assessed existing security measures in authority’s garages. Developed design for security systems.

Municipal Authority of the City of New Kensington; PA
Scope: Security Vulnerability Assessment and Security Planning for ‘Authority’ of two (2) treated water reservoirs, five (5) water pumping station(s) , a water treatment plant, ten (10) water storage tanks, and a wide area water distribution system, then the development of a comprehensive Security Upgrade Program.  Subsequent assignment involved the development of an Emergency Operations Plan for the Authority.

New York City Federal Courthouse; New York
Scope: Provided Value Engineering, Design Assistance and Assessment of Security Plan for a Federal Courthouse that houses criminal, civil and family court with under-building parking and top floor tenant offices.

Pennsylvania Magisterial District Courts; Pennsylvania

Scope:  Performed a detailed review and assessment of the bids received as the result of a request for proposals issued by the Administrative Office.  The assessment included an evaluation of the bidders qualifications as well as it related to the bid specifications.  The assessment report ranked the bidders based on a scaled matrix that included: work plan, equipment vendor qualifications, and subcontractor qualifications.

Pittsburgh Convention Center; Pittsburgh

1st Assignment:  Provided the architect with a Technical Specification for the installation of an Access Control and Video camera system.  2nd Assignment:  performed an inspection of the existing electronic security systems to determine if the system installation and products are in compliance with the installation specification requirements and developed a report of the inspection findings referencing the specifications sections that applied to the issues found.  Additionally, SecuraComm reviewed as-built drawings and O&M manual development, supported system installation corrections and questions from contractors and the Convention Center, and prepared naming conventions for programming, field panels and enclosures.

Pittsburgh Parking Authority; Pennsylvania
Scope: Assessed security measures and guard services.  Developed guard specifications, solicitation of bids, assistance with contractor selection.

Pittsburgh Housing Authority; Pennsylvania

Scope:  Designed and supported implementation of fire alarm system replacement and security improvements at multiple housing communities.  Work included system design, specification development, contractor selection assistance and installation support for contractors.

 

City of Roanoke Jail; Virginia

Designed and developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) with specifications for an upgrade of security at the Roanoke City Jail and the Jail Annex which included the replacement of closed circuit cameras, monitors, communications, and door controller equipment.

Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority; South Carolina

Scope: In alliance with Tectonic consultants, SecuraComm conducted a vulnerability assessment of county water facilities, calculated risk and developed a plan of recommended threat countermeasures.

 

Sussex County; New Jersey
Scope: Performed a vulnerability assessment of County facilities, developed recommendations for enhanced security, and prepared a Security Upgrade Plan.  Subsequent assignment included the design, specification, contractor(s) selection, amd implementation support for enhancements and updates to the access control and video camera recording systems.

State of Utah; Utah

Scope:  Assessed the perimeter security of State Courthouses located in the State's four most populous counties.  The assignment included:  on-site evaluations of the perimeter security systems, locking, and security screening stations at 12 courthouses; review of the training provided  to the County Sheriff Officers and Deputies providing perimeter security; determination of training required to provide perimeter security; and cost/benefit study to determine if a contracted security force or force of State-employed security officers could provide similar services as the County Sheriffs' departments as reduced cost.  The results of the assignment were summarized in a written report and presented to the State Judicial Review Committee.

Toledo Water Authority; Ohio

Scope: Designed an enhanced security system to interface with exterior and interior lighting and telecommunications systems, and development of cost estimates for implementation.  Subsequent assignment included development of installation specifications for all systems; assistance to the client in bid solicitation and contractor selection; system implementation support; and audit of the security system installation.

Village of Hinsdale; New Jersey

Scope:  Evaluated risk and designed security for a municipal-owned undergrond parking garage.  Scope of work included the development of recommendations for security enhancement, development of probable costs for implementation, and development of design drawings.

Village of Scarsdale; New York
Scope: Designed/developed security alarm and fire protection systems for municipal building as part of master security and fire protection upgrade plan for municipality; developed construction bid documents including bidding requirements, developed installation specifications, assisted with pre-bid and contractor selection process, construction drawings, implementation support, post installation audit and acceptance test.

Village of Skokie; Illinois
Scope: Provided City-wide vulnerability assessment survey and developed design for security alarm and fire protection systems for municipal facilities as part of master security and fire protection upgrade plan for municipality. Work included development of construction bid documents including bidding requirements; development of installation specifications, assistance with pre-bid and contractor selection process, and construction drawings, implementation support, post installation audit and acceptance test.

US Federal Courthouses; 4 Sites Throughout US

Scope:  Reviewed and assessed implementation of US Marshall's security enhancement requests at numerous sites throughout the US.
