Abington Memorial Hospital; Pennsylvania 

Scope: Performed a security review of the Emergency and Trauma Center in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of procedures for physical security and access control, along with a review of staff procedures/responsibilities pertaining to security and the organizational structure and deployment of security personnel. 

 

Amsterdam Memorial Health Care System; NY

Consultants provided a physical security vulnerability assessment and developed recommendations to enhance the security program.  Assessment specifically examined critical components such as emergency department security, accessibility and access control, JCAHO security compliance, parking lot security, lighting and visitor control.  

  

Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, PA

Consultants evaluated the existing security program utilized by this 215-bed healthcare facility and developed recommendations for both short-term and long-term enhancements.  Additionally, designed site CCTV system.

Beaver County Geriatric Center; Pennsylvania
Scope: Assessed physical security measures. Developed recommendations and cost estimates for long-term enhancements.  Designed/developed lighting upgrades, access control systems, and video and recording systems. Developed installation specifications.
 

 

 Blue Cross Blue Shield; Minnesota
Scope: Provided physical security and HIPAA compliance assessment and development of enhancement recommendations.

    

Butler Memorial Health System; Pennsylvania

Scope:  Developed specifications for competitive bidding for a security upgrade of the Emergency Department.

 

  

Care First; Maryland
Scope: Designed/developed a security system to include intrusion detection system, access control system including door hardware requirements, closed circuit television and gate control systems, security system electrical requirements, lobby desk monitoring provisions. Prepared installation specifications and bid requirements. Assisted client with contractor selection and provided installation support and turnover and commissioning services.

Dubois Regional Medical Center; Pennsylvania

Scope:  Performed an overall assessment of the Medical Center's security program at two geographically separate campuses.  The assessment included scurity policies, procedures, equipment, and security force in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses fo the security program.  The goal of the assessment was to identify areas of improvement to the existing security program and develop recommendations to elevate the security program commensurate with the threat to DRMC personnel, patients, visitors, and property.

  

Erie County Home; New York

Scope:  Addressed site and building conditions, infrastructure, existing physical security measures, and the present security posture of this long-care term facility for the aged.  This data, gathered in the course of the assessment, was used to identify the Home's vulnerabilities and provide a plan for security upgrades, modifications of the operational procedures, and/or policy changes to mitigate identified risks to critical assets with an emphasis on ingress and egress and with a goal of segregating non-public from public locations within each wing.

Lake Hospital System; Ohio

Scope: Developed a Lockdown Procedure that responded to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Threat Level. 

   

Somerset Hospital; Pennsylvania

Scope: Reviewed the existing security program to determine proper organizational structure and the required elements to formulate a cohesive program for effective use of policies, procedures, systems and responses.  Developed recommendations with cost estimates for program enhancements.

Saint Mary Medical Center; Pennsylvania

Scope:  Performed an overall review of the medical center's security program in order to identify  the strengths and weaknesses of the program, identify  specific areas of risk, recommend improvements to mitigate or eliminate  the risk, and ensure compliance with the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Environment of Care standards.  The review included all of the Medical Center's facilities to include the seven interconnected buildings - main facility, child development center, storefront clinic and three residential homes.

 

United Hospital Center; West Virginia

Scope: Performed a physical security vulnerability assessment and developed enhancement recommendations.  Assessment specifically examined critical components such as emergency department security, accessibility and access control, JCAHO security compliance, parking lot security, lighting and visitor control.

 

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); Pennsylvania

Scope: Prepared a RFP for security guard services for 33 facilities and bidding requirements, and assisted with contractor selection.  Work included survey of all facilities, employee interviews, and development of site-specific post orders for each location, identified and pre-qualified potential bidders, bid documents, performed bid review and assistance with contractor selection.

  

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Research Facility; Pennsylvania
Scope: Assessed the security program.  Developed recommendations for long-term enhancement. Reviewed guard services for healthcare locations.

  

York Hospital; Pennsylvania
Scope: Assessed of current video camera system regarding use and operation. Developed recommendations and probable cost for the system upgrade. Provided security design of A and B section of existing building with integration into the existing infant abduction system.  Developed new central monitoring station.
