Carnegie Library – Braddock Branch; Pennsylvania
Development of Security Master Plan and design of upgraded security system. Develop specifications, assist with Bid Review, and coordinate installation. The security systems included a camera video surveillance system, access control system, and fire detection system.

Cleveland Public Library; Ohio
Scope: First Assignment: Provided assessment of existing security measures at urban library, developed conceptual design for upgraded security program.

Second Assignment: Designed security systems for new library and office building including design of security monitoring station for a 52-camera video surveillance system, a 51-point duress reporting system, and a 56-door access control and monitoring system; developed construction documents including bidding requirements, installation specifications, and installation detail drawings. Following the installation, audited the security system installations and issued a punchlist.

Third Assignment: Developed specifications for a unified guard service at eighteen (18) branch locations.

Fourth Assignment: Developed design and installation specifications for video camera systems for multiple branch locations.

Scope: Performed an evaluation and developed both short and long-term recommendations for enhancementof the security program.

Scope: Surveyed facility, assessed security system operation. Developed Security Master Plan and prepared conceptual design for upgraded security protection measures at presidential library. Designed comprehensive security system for Presidential Oval Office featuring a quasi-covert multi-camera system with digital motion detection and visitor voice warning. Construction bid documents including bidding requirements, installation specifications, and detail drawings for security system. Audited final installation. Provided support in resolution of punch-list items.

Scope: Designed/developed security and fire protection systems and a new security control station for renovated art museum. Scope: Provided security assessment and analysis of existing security measures and program at automobile museum, and developed recommendations and cost estimates for enhancement.

Nelson Atkins Museum; Missouri
Scope: First Assignment: Assessed security program at world class urban museum. Second Assignment: Developed a comprehensive design plan for Museum and Sculpture Garden.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens; Pennsylvania
Scope: Developed Master Security Plan, man-power requirements and budget for renovated, public conservatory; including development of conceptual design for upgraded security, design of new security systems, design of security monitoring station, video surveillance system, duress reporting system, and access control and monitoring systems, developed construction documents including bidding requirements, installation specifications, and installation detail drawings. Post installation audit of security system installations.

Scope: Performed evaluation of security measures at museum and art school; Developed Security Master Plan and prepared a comprehensive Security Upgrade Plan for Art Museum and Art School. Coordinated ADA Compliance Study.

Pittsburgh Children’s Museum; Pennsylvania
Scope: Developed a design for new security and fire protection systems of this public museum; developed construction bid documents including bidding requirements, installation specifications, and detail drawings for security and fire alarm system. Pittsburgh Convention Center; Pennsylvania

Scope: 1st Assignment: Provided the architect with a Technical Specification for the installation of an Access Control and Video Camera System. 2nd Assignment: Performed an inspection of the existing electronic security systems to determent if the system installation and products are in compliance with the installation specifications requirements and developed a report of the inspection findings referencing the specification sections that applied to the issues found. Additionally, SecuraComm reviewed as-built drawings and O&M manuals, supported system installation corrections and questions from the contractor and the Convention Center, and prepared naming conventions for programming, field panels and enclosures.

Pittsburgh Cultural Trust; Pennsylvania
Scope: Performed security survey and directed security upgrade for five (5) cultural theaters and galleries and prepared Emergency Preparedness Plans for all facilities. Assisted in the training of staff regarding emergency preparedness. Developed of identification badge program.

Sam Fox Art Museum at Washington University; Illinois

Scope: Provided security system design review services for the new Gallery of Art building and associated spaces. Subsequently, incorporated recommendations into a revised design and developed a complete set of installation specifications and bid documents for competitive bidding.

University of Virginia; Harrison-Small Library; Virginia

Scope: provided an independent review and analysis of security systems and supporting infrastructure including assessment of the consistency of installation with project design criteria and specifications. Evaluated the operational stability of the current system, the current hardware, sensors, camera equipment and facilities infrastructure and the current software infrastructure. Additionally, performed discovery efforts required to ascertain repairs and/or redesign of current environment. Assisted in the development of risk mitigation plans for current security needs and provided a detailed written evaluation of the current security system infrastructure addressing all issues noted above, with recommendations and cost estimates.

Virginia Center for Performing Arts; Virginia

Scope: Conducted an initial orientation–predesign meeting to determine security needs of the new performing arts center. Developed a design of a comprehensive security system and man-power plan that included the design of access control, internal and external video surveillance, door monitoring, and intercom systems and a monitoring center, development of cost estimates, development of door hardware and elevator control requirements, and development of installation specifications and bidding requirements for competitive bidding.
