Valspar; Multiple Sites throughout the U.S.Scope: Development of a set of ‘corporate’ security standards. The standards were divided into two subsets, ‘Deterrents’ and ‘Procedures’. ‘Deterrent’ Standards include standard ‘restricted’ keyway locks at exterior entrances, adequate lighting, alarm systems, anti-trespassing signage at perimeter and entrances, theft deterrent signage at entrances, interior access control via lock and key perimeter fencing. ‘Procedural’ Standards include proprietary information secured, incident reporting system, visitor control via log-in register, visitor badging and required escort, Valspar employee 800 hotline for anonymously reporting security,safety problems or incidents, employee id badges and key management system.
